Sperry Boat Shoes, Colors  and Rainy Days

IMG_5292 IMG_5265I think one of my most important wardrobe essentials are Sperry Boat shoes and Keds. You won’t see them too much in my posts, as I usually wear my more “put together” pieces, but they are probably my most WORN pieces. They are the shoes I just throw on when I need to run outside or go quickly to the store, or if it’s raining and I don’t want to have the hassle of rain boots, as evidenced the other day when I joined Dragan in Nyon for an afternoon Hot Cocoa. Good morning to all of my American friends. 🙂 It’s just after noon here and today is one of those rainy but freezing days where you just want to rain to become snow, as that would be much more pleasant. I can’t seem to motivate myself to go do much other than take Jasper out. I had hoped to ski today, but not in this……! ( Read more

Romper Look 2

Follow my blog with Bloglovin 2015/01/img_1633.jpg Hey Everyone. On my last post, I demonstrated taking my summer romper into winter with Fur boots, vest and a dose of Glam, but in the same day, I quickly changed the look to be more casual. I simply changed out my fur vest to a boyfriend cardigan, and my boots exchanged from heels to flat over the knee boots! I love this look so much because it is classy and comfortable and great for walking around a city……or a mall. Thanks as always to Jasper for being so perfect in all my photos. I should start a blog just for him. :-)( Read more

Winter Run

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a good start to your weeks……:-)  Last night we received a good deal of snow, and I awoke to a very beautiful postcard setting outside my window. I have my puppy waking me VERY early these days with a loud bark (which I’m not pleased about) so I was feeling pretty lethargic most of the morning, having woken up to feed, play with and walk the beast, until he was tired enough to relax.( Read more

Strolling along St Prex…..

One of the most difficult things to deal with when moving to a foreign country, is the difficulty of making friends. Not just people to grab a coffee with and talk the basics, but a real friend that you can laugh and be silly around and just be comfortable around. At least for me, this is very important. I’ve made a few of these friends that I’m incredibly grateful to know, and most recently I’ve met a girl who is going through the exact same transition as me……it feels like I’ve known her a long time. Great!( Read more

Pretty in Pink Day in Geneva with Jasper!

Hello everyone!

Today was the last of our lazy days as Dragan goes back to work tomorrow. We didn’t want to do much, so after Almond Croissants, I made myself go for a run with my friend Miriana and then we decided to head into Geneva. We wanted Starbucks and today was a lovely day for it, with temperatures in the high 50’s and the sun shining overhead! ( Read more
