We arrived in Dubai late Thursday night and it has been fantastic as the moment we stepped into the hotel, we have been treated like royalty. I guess this is the way in Dubai, as service is unparalleled. Checking in at 2am, we were brought fresh passion fruit juice and hand towels as we waited in the lobby and had a staff of 4 looking after us. Our first day, we were quite lazy and spent the day sleeping in then lounging at he beach. The only unfortunate event is that there is a sandstorm this weekend. Dubai has a sandstorm once or twice a year as the season changes, and it is disappointing as we can’t see too much. We are here for Work though, and it is warm,so I can’t complain too much.

Last night we went to a dinner party at a house belonging to an associate of Dragan’s, and wow, it was a treat. They have a villa on Palm Dubai with a pool and their own private beach, and it was laid back and exquisite at the same time. I met some great girls, and three were from Geneva…..small world……and I was able to wear my red Hervé Léger dress that I’ve been waiting to wear for a year. We were overdressed but I didn’t care. 🙂

Today we are taking it easy again as there was a fire last night in Dubai that makes us not want to go to the Marina. I believe we are going to Atlantis now and we have dinner with more people tonight. I hope the sand clears some so we can get some more experiences and pictures to share with you all! For those who are wondering, Dubai is super safe, and did you know, only local consist of only 11% of Dubai’s population. The rest are expatriates. It’s crazy! It feels a bit like Miami, mixed with Las Vegas, mixes with Disney World, and you lack for nothing. Follow me on Instagram for updated pics!! ❤️❤️❤️

Finally….A Visit to Paris

Hello on this Autumnal day to anyone finding themselves here at my blog. I’ve lived just outside Geneva for a year now and only a few weeks ago did get the opportunity to visit Paris. Ah, Paris. The sound of that name just evokes a sense of romance in one’s mind and the city doesn’t fail to deliver.

To me, it has become my favorite city ever to visit., as it fed my imagination with stories long lived and created in me a sense of wanting to be fabulous and broody and complex and smart and brilliant all at the same time, as I’m sure it does to everyone. ( Read more
