About

Hello and Welcome. Bonjour et Bienvenue.

I started this blog when I moved from NYC into a small French town about 10 minutes outside of Geneva, as a way to show my friends and family my life as well as share my triumphs and my set backs, and has transformed into a place where I not only do that but also share all the things I love.

Some of those featured things will be Fashion, Beauty, Design, Coffee, Wine and Travel! I love beautiful things and I believe beauty is important and that we should strive to create it wihin ourselves as well as our environments. Create spaces that make you feel good, and wear clothes that make you feel confident. Be yourself. Expand. I want to try to insert a bit of beauty and glam into every day, and I would like to invite you to join me on this journey.

As a new wife, it’s a fun process to start cooking (I mostly ordered out or went out in NYC), create a home, and explore my interests in fashion overseas.

Why Cobblestone Roads?

The more I see of the world, and the more I pursue beauty and knowledge, the more I have realized there is nothing to me like walking down a cobblestone road, exploring something new or thinking on something old……and I wanted this blog to feel like that. I wanted it to be a space where I invite people to walk down a road with me full of wonder and fashion and stories of my life and where I can, in turn, learn from all of you as you share with me a bit of your life and your tastes.

Should be exciting and I hope you join me on this journey.

Much Love,

Sarah

  2. Hi Sarah

I enjoy reading your blog and seeing your pictures! We lived in California for a year, so I know how it is to live in a different country. Now I live with my husband and daughter close to Berne. Next week we go to Dubai :-). I would love to meet you someday, write me a mail, if you’re interested in meeting a Swiss Girl.
    Greetings Melanie

      1. Hi Sarah, yeah, I saw your blog posts about Dubai. Yes, I was in Dubai before, for a few stop overs (twice on the trip to/from Mauritius, and last year on our way to Thailand). I look forward to spend some time at the pool, shopping and enjoying the sun!
Yes, let’s meet, when I’m back from vacation.
