Hometown Hues

Today was a gorgeous fall day, so I pulled out my new chunky scarf, favorite long sweater, and went exploring with my mom.  What a fun day we had, taking pictures, throwing leaves and laughing as people stared at us as though we were crazy. My whole life, I’ve had a few favorite streets in this tiny little town I grew up in………Franklin Avenue and Timlin Hill. So we headed there to get some good shots as the scenery this time of the year is just stunning. I, like most of you, adore the season.

As I wrote in my last post, sometimes it is hard to go home, the home that really isn’t anymore, but that contains so many memories you can’t help but think of it that way. Today was not hard as it was so nice to spend time with my mom (who wouldn’t let me include her photos!) and to stroll down streets that hold so many memories.  One of the good things about living in a small town, is that you run into people you know, even just standing on a quiet street (Hello Bonnie) and everyone tells you hi and also wants to comment on what you are doing. “Hey, photo shoot?” “Hello! What do you you work for the news network?” “Hiya, famous photos?”. Lol. Nope, just taking some photos for my blog, trying to show my little space here in the world some things that I love.

Speaking of love, I love these scarfs that are so big I wasn’t sure how to work them, and there are several ways, so if you like this style, they will definitely keep you warm this season! Should I do a post to show different ways to tie them?? Please let me know. Also, as I’m thinking of new names for my blog and after walking down my favorite street, I think I’ve come up with my perfect one! Let me know if you like it!
